Furry at York
A club for furries on York University campus!
Furry at York, also known as FURRY, is a social club at York University made by furries for furries! Our goal is to provide a welcoming, friendly, and safe space where fans of anthropomorphic animals on campus can meet up and find new friends without judgement!
Our club started as a small Discord chat made through the student portal, and from there we grew and grew to the point where we could register to become an official YorkU club!
We all know how hard and scary it can be to find people who have a shared place in the furry fandom due to stigma, so our club hopes to bring more people together in a place where self-expression is both welcomed and encouraged!
On-campus club meetings are announced on our Discord server and YUConnect. Showing up to meetings is not required to be a member!
Additionally, we plan many off-campus meetings and events such as movie nights, bowling, dinners, karoke, local fur meets and convention attendances! We also offer hybrid and online events for those who cannot attend in person.
We have a number of free events that we host, but some events may require payment to attend.
You must be currently enrolled at York to become an official member. Registering to Furry at York is free!

As a note: We welcome non-York university students and York alumni to join our club! You cannot officially register, but we love finding local university furs to chat with!
